We travel through Philly for Nascar races and Pats/Genos are good and they are a Philly tradition...

We are heading there on June 1st and after much research I determined Jims and Tony Lukes were on the list for us to try. So glad to get good feedback on them

If we are including the jersey shore, I have to put my vote in for Russo's at 9th and Ocean Ave in N. Wildwood. Probably the "Best" cheesesteak I've ever had. When I was "younger" it was MR. D's at 5am after the bars closed. Those days are long gone. :(

A friend from work who grew up in Philly also said Jim's. It was great (but I like hoagies - so didn't really have the cheese steak there - but the mr did and said it was. ). The upstairs tables looking out on South Street at all the people was a good as the food. :o :D  :D
