Being a believer isn't always easy. Nor is being the subject of such vile hatred.
Go with God & rest well.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, I just don't think this is an appropriate forum for these types of topics-but, as I always say, if you have something to say, by all means say it.rednekkPH wrote:Aw, come on Garry I agree with ya on alot of stuff, but Ol' Jerry spewed much more vile hatred than he could ever have been the subject of.Wino you know wrote:Nor is being the subject of such vile hatred.
Just promise me you'll show me SOME kindness when it's MY turn to assume room temperature.

I dont think the world would be a better place without you, so of course I will (if I dont get there first, of course).Wino you know wrote:Just promise me you'll show me SOME kindness when it's MY turn to assume room temperature.

You're still very young-please do take care of yourself, and remember tolerance is a virtue.rednekkPH wrote:Hell, I had no intention of making it this far...if I knew I would ever see 30+, I woulda taken much better care of myself.

If people choose to be religous that's cool with me.
If they try to convince me that their's is better than mine, I get upset.
If they tell me that mine is mis-guided, I get pi$$ed off.
If they tell me that I will pay a price for it in the afterlife, I laugh in their face.
If they call my faith a "Gutter Religion", them's fight'n words.
Jerry never did that, (another still warm-bodied racist left-leaning Christian has though).
If people of my tribe tell me I should be more observant, I shake their hand and go on my merry way.
If they tell me I'm not as good as them, I politly disagree.
Jerry is kind of in the middle.
I don't put him in the same catagory as the other televangelists, nor in the same group as the other xenophobes out there, and if we ignore the conservative politics there wasn't as much to hate about him as some other conservative or extremly liberal but racist self-styled religous "celebrities".
I try to speak only good of the departed, but am too opinionated to follow through.
I'll dance on the graves of some, write obituaries exposing the true nature of others, praise some, and stay silent on the rest.
I'll remain without comment on this dude.

There's more than enough small-mindedness and bad feelings in the world as it is. No need to add to it here. Believe what you believe, follow what makes you happy. If an open mind and an open heart can't take you where you need to be, try a little love and luck. That being said, sail on Jerry.
Live. Love. Laugh. Repeat.
