"Women looking for a simple way to avoid their menstrual period could soon have access the first birth control pill designed to let women suppress monthly bleeding indefinitely....."
I've been taking the pill continously for at least 7 years now and literally can't remember the last time I had a period. Can't say I miss it one bit.
For the Ladies only....

I never had much luck with the pill. Ask my daughter Victoria. Plus also, no matter how low a dose I took, I got the most atrocious migraines ever. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about better living through chemistry and have no qualms messing with mother nature, but the pill just never worked out for me. Besides, at our house, we look forward to BJ week.

Migraines are actually why I am on it continuously. I know if I forget because 3 hours after the time I am supposed to take it, a horrible migraine starts to set in. When I was taking the pill as directed (with the week off) I would have a migraine the entire time I was off until I took it again. Every month. It's been ten years since I was on it and that was a bit before anyone recommended to not take the week off (which is what makes you not get your period). If I only knew then what I know now.carey24 wrote:Migraines are actually why I am on it continuously. HA HA HA HA HA, I wish I were clever enough to find the smiley that rolls around on the floor - best laugh I had all day.
It figures they come up with this now that I no longer need it. Geez
