Tics for Mohegan Sun will be $251.00 for the really good seats. A little much, but a great place to see a show. I am not sure what upper level will be, but I hear $96.00

Great news!!
Just a little advice. Two years ago we went and sat in the last row of the upper sections (row M). Couldn't understand a word he sang or said. The sound just echoed in the rafters. Once you walked down three or four rows, it was fine. Everyone around us was complaining.
If you are serious about buying tickets on the day they go on sale, Mohegan holds a bunch for sale only at the box office. If possible, go to the box office to buy them (hard to do when you are working though).

The $96.00 behind the stage have been really good the last 2 years...just depend how high up...the lower ones have been great!

....any seat at the Mohegan Sun arena is a good deal as far as sound quality- must have been an off night for the sound system.

Carol,
The last 2 years I stayed at the Holiday Inn in New London. It's about 15-20 minutes from Mohegan Sun and I think it was about $120/night.

Is it a good venue?

It's small for an indoor arena, about 10,000-11,000, so there really aren't any bad seats. I sat upstairs 2 years ago and I've had worse seats.
They set aside one parking lot for tailgating and I don't think it filled up either time. It was pretty easy getting out after the show too.

There is a Ramada about a mile away...also a Best western pretty much at the enterance.....google the Norwich area and there are a few...you are coming from 395S so New London may be a bit out of the way....Tailgating is at the Winter Entrance Parking Lot...in the back of the Casino...also it's the Bus lot

thanks larry and tommy.
we put in for tickets through our club but i'm thinking that we may just wait until the day of and see what we can get. if we don't have tickets what is the deal with regards to parking in the lot??? or will we have to park somewhere else and walk in?
the club seats are the $96 ones so i'm pretty sure it's in the upper level, perhaps in the back. i know they were in the back the last time but not sure how far up. the club doesn't get the same locale year to year.
tb, i'm assuming that you're going, are you larry???

They didn't check to see if you had tickets on the way into the lot so anyone can park there.
I'm thinking of going. I'll be at the Gillette show that Sunday so if I go to this one I may just stay there an extra day, then drive up to Foxboro instead of going home to LI Friday and driving back up Saturday.
