It's not like a normal venue and you can't party in the parking lot. I am justcurious what the plans are for the people heading to AC.
I actually live right outside of AC and am still trying to figure out what we are going to do. There are several Beach Bars on the Boardwalk and I am sure they will be mobbed, but that's also a very expensive day. I may end up having a BBQ before the concert and jumping in a taxi for the 5 minute drive to AC.

I think the beach bars are going to be it for me and my group! we are staying at Trump Plaza so all we have to do is walk out of the hotel and on to the beach!

hi folks been off site for about a week. was in the hospital for 4 days
with a nasty allergic reaction to what the doctors referred to as
"we don't know". but back to the topic at hand. from what i gather
i should basically just show up in a.c. with my ticket, head for the
beach area and parking lots near boardwalk hall and look for the parties,
sound as though it wouldn't be a good idea to bring tailgating stuff as
there might be nowhere to set up (legally). don't know what kind of
sense of humor the a.c. police have or how tolerant they are.
the good news is i'll be at the pittsburgh show and get the full tailgate
experiance, which is half the fun anyway. any idea where most of the
bn'ers will be hang out? beach bars near trump plaza? hope to run into
a few of you anyway.

I'll post this question here and on another thread as well...does anyone know of any organized or unofficial tailgate taking place before the show? I'd think that one of the Parrothead chapters might have gotten someting going on the beach itself, which would be a blast. I heard something about a Beach Bar in Trump Plaza...?
