Al Franken: God Spoke

Post by flyboy55 »

Just watched Al Franken's movie God Spoke . . . very funny! Lampoons the Right as only Franken can. Available on DVD.

Al Franken does the infamous "Mission Accomplished" routine (but I think Bush's codpiece insert was bigger).

So he's one of the best at it? The guy who's radio show failed?
Back when Nixon was in office there was REAL talant available to lampoon the right. They had me rolling on the floor.
Al Franken? You've got to be kidding! I'd rather catch up on the "date a shirt" thread. Much funnier.

"Al Franken" and "funny" don't belong in the same sentence.

Why would Franken need a codpiece? Oh, wait sorry, I got it now. My bad.

Why would Franken need a codpiece? A comedic prop of course. The intelligent question would have been, "why does Bush need a codpiece?"

Don't you understand comedy? :D

Give or take a year or two, Al Franken WAS around to lampoon the Right when Nixon was in office. :)

Possibly, but with so few channels of entertainment available back then, only the truly talanted were given air time.

Oh, my bad, I thought it was because he doesn't have a package and needs to feel better about himself. Thanks for the correction.

if you're not a liberal before you're thirty, you don't have a heart...

if you're still one after 30, you don't have a brain...

can't imagine why you couldn't find that by googling...heard that long before there was a google...

doesn't mention a word about conservative, right or left...
