That looks pretty cool. First one I have seen with a tap on it, and looks pretty well made.

I could buy an HD-DVD extension for my XBOX360 and several of my favorite movies for LESS than what that cooler costs.

Maybe if I saw it on sale...

...but how often is it we see REAL sales on Margaritaville merch? ;)

Good point but Costco did have the concoction maker for $239....seemed like a sale....

Yeah, compared to the regular price, but it's still a highly inflated price (obviously, because of the Margaritaville logo; businesspeople know what suckers we Parrotheads can be).

And I should note that I don't blame Jimmy for this. I'm sure he's aware that these things are being sold, but I doubt he had little (if anything) to do with the design, production, marketing or pricing for this, just like with merchandise at Margaritaville stores.

Still, like owning any piece of fine machinery, the frozen conncotion maker makes one hell of a margarita......and it looks as though the cooler is of the same high quality...... :D :D :D

What I want to know is does this thing use any electricity?

That's a LOT of money for a piece of insulated plastic with a few taps added in. (Of course I haven't actually seen this thing "in action" so this is just a snap judgement.)

Found at Bed, Bath & Beyond

Okay - This may be a duplication (Sorry) - but I was out pre-tailgate shopping and I came across at Bed Bath & Beyond the Maragarator.....

Plug in at home or via car!!! holds a gallon $99.00 there is the 20% off coupon right now. May want to think about it. I do not have the cash right now unless the horses I played today come in and I hit the power ball!

I'll try to post the photo

I will say this. A friend of mine has the Frozen Concoction Maker and it is great! This is a real quality piece! I would say that you are paying for quality more than for the name. As soon as they get more in at Linens and things were are taking our 20% off cupon and getting one for ourselves.

I saw this cooler at a private event at M'ville in orlando last Wednesday...it was cool, but the price was a turn off. It was very sturdy and well constructed and the stand was very heavy. It is big, like better have room to store it big unless you plan to display it. For this price I'd never want to put it away. There are no electric parts, the container that uses the tap is just a plasctic insert.

Cool concept, and if I had a big house with a huge deck in a warm climate, I'd be in for it. If I live in the midwest where the wind blows 25 all the time and I'd be tempted to attempt to lug it to tailgates, no thanks...oh wait, I do live in the midwest

Let me get this straight...$350...for a cooler???

That's even worse than a $300 blender (for those saying what a great piece it is, catch up with me in a parking lot this year and I'll hook ya up with a drink made on my $15 blender hooked to my $30 inverter...if ya dont think mine is at least as good, well...you'd be wrong  )

There is not a blender made that makes a drink as well as the Concoction Maker. You just can't duplicate shaved ice with a blender.

Here's the po' boy Parrothead alternative... ($300 less - for tap, puncture hole in side, use cork)
