Discussing t-shirts that all can wear to the concert is one thing, IMHO, but most guys and gals don't look good in bikini's.![]()
And with that.. let's all get back to the gatherings and parties in Las Vegas.

I am seriously considering switching our floor seats... hhhmmmm. We are in the first row on the end... but I am only 5'2. Are there any rules about standing on your chairs?
We haven't figured out yet where we are staying, but we should be booking flights in the next weekend or two.

I'm going to see if a deal that I got at NYNY is valid for that weekend, if so I'll be joining you guys there (It's possible that they may want me to stay an additional night either Thursday or Sunday, I'll have to check.)
(Followup, the deal is not yet open for October, so I'll be checking back in a few weeks.)

I would never do it like the whole show, but maybe to take some pictures... I realize when I asked that I should have been more specific.ragtopW wrote:the staff at the MGM gets.... Testy about that...seminolegrl06 wrote:Like I said... me and the BF (a 17 show veteran) will be there!!!!

I am very respectful of my mother, but if her friends posed that question on the off topic chat, I would have told them the exact same thing. Respect is earned, lots of people older than me are idiots, just because someone is older doesn't mean they deserve respect. Especially when they act to immature to agree to disagree....ph4ever wrote:
Referring to your first no 6 statement - You really need to back that one up and take a good long hard look into your mirror when you say that. You call for respect when you are in fact guilty of disrespecting quite a number of BN members, some longtime, in that off topic thread you mentioned. Some of us are your mothers age or older - is that how you treat your mother and her peers?
It has been clear from your posts that you are attempting to divide BN into the old people and the younger ones. Does that anger people - yes quite frankly it does yet in the same time you provide laughter and amazement for some.
The age difference here between FRIENDS is vast. Some of us that are friends have HUGE age differences, some ranging from 20 to 35 years difference and from the pm's flying between all of us, well let's just say you're not the only one that is receiving and sending pm's about posts made. Your rudeness toward several of us not only in the off topic thread you mentioned but also this one was causing a pm barrage LONG before I stepped into this thread.
You asked for opinions, than got mad when you got one. Obviously it was not well liked, but I received PMs from people who were glad I said it. Things have changed in the past 50 years for woman, someone who is 65 will have a different opinion on it than someone who is 45 and someone who is 25. What I said isn't any less true just because you don't like it. You people have already formed a preconcieved notion of me and are treating me as such. God forbid a girl is young, wants to wear something cute, or has an opinion.
You don't know me at all... and have certainly never partied with me. In tallahassee the people we tailgated by were in their 50s and we had an awsome afternoon! I have zero problems with age. My BF is 31 on wednesday (I am 23) I know he is still young, but many of our friends are in their 30s and 40s. It doesn't bother me one bit.
I dont want to divide the forum. I dont want to do anything but have a good time at a concert with (what I thought) were good people. For being parrotheads yall are certainly uptight and close minded. I was excited to do a BN meetup and have a fun tailgate. But I can think of better things to do being around a bunch of women who basically hate me because I am young. There is nothing I can do to change myself to a 52 year old woman. So since you hate me because I am not one, than I don't really need to be around women who are cady to someone to just be cady. If I wanted that I would be chillin in a sorority house on jefferson street.
You say people sent PMs and are laughing about me. Well people are laughing at you. If you could step back and see what ya'll look like I think you would maybe realize... its sad really.

Bf is short too. also the whole point of asking is they are usually more strict about something like keeping the aisles clear than maybe standing 30 seconds on a chair. I just don't want to get thrown out or something.sunseeker wrote:maybe your boyfriend could take them for you....or step out in the aisle...
