The refundable longnecks are a thing of the past. When I left the Beer Business 7 years ago, Bud was the last hold out. Call your Miller distributor and find out if they carry them for on premise (Bar) sales.captenuta wrote:I'm a Miller LIte drinker. I know a lot of beer snobs think it's crappy but it's what I like. I use to drink it out of long neck returnable bottles, you know the old scratched up bottles that needed a real bottle opener. But I can't get those any more unless someone knows where in Chicago.
A little help please?

City is the ORIGINAL G Heileman's brewery. City is what Heileman called his brewery initially.RinglingRingling wrote:Heileman's had it for a long time... their Special Ex and Blackened X, especially at the higher octane rating.. ;Doph wrote:There's also City Brewery in LaCrosse (home to the Worlds Largest 6 Pack) and Point in Stevens Point.pojo wrote:I love the Wisconsin Microbrewery called New Glarus Brewing... they have beers called Spotted Cow, Fat Squirrel, Hearty Hop, etc

Anyone prefer their beer room temp?
Mr. SGH prefers his room temp.... says if it's not worth drinking at room temp, it's not worth drinking...

Try Moose Drool, or Slow Elk Stout (Big Sky)Skibo wrote:I don't drink any beer that will pass light. I only drink porters and stouts. Sam Smith has a great porter and their oatmeal stout isn't too bad. Guiness of course and Sam Adams has a nice stout. I like to try the microbrews when I am out. It is hard to find a good porter or stout in the summer. I drink beer for the taste and if I could find a good tasting malt beverage without the alcohol I would drink it. I've tried malta, don't like it.
Anchor Porter or Stout. (Or the Old Fog Cutter)
Sierra Nevada. Stout (or the Celebration ale)
or the Pologamy Porter.
I tried it at the Brewfest.. it was great..RinglingRingling wrote:ragtopW wrote:Zima.... can I get a monitor squeegee over here?bocanuts wrote:I hate beer, I hate beer...if I have anything close it must be Woodchuck and that's really not that close.

LOVE LANDSHARK!!! First and Foremost above all beers!
It puts the BIGGEST smile on my face when I read Margaritaville Brewing Company. It doesn't really matter what is in the bottle.
Seriously, all beer after the first few, is good! That's why I usually drink some kind of light beer. Then I can keep slugging them all night!
