We're headed to UNC-Wilmington this July on a college scouting mission and thought one of y'all might have a recomendation on a place to stay.
On the beach is preferred, but it doesn't have to be Wilmington Beach.

Re: Coastal Carolina
there's a nifty old beach place on Wrightsville called the Carolina Temple. very old beach style but with some modern amenities. it's been around for a really long time and is a part of Wrightsville history. family owned too.phaninatl wrote:We're headed to UNC-Wilmington this July on a college scouting mission and thought one of y'all might have a recomendation on a place to stay.

do you play golf? if so there is a place about 20 - 30 miles south of Wilmington called Brunswick Plantation. a 5 day "visit" package is $170 if you do their 2 hour tour of the grounds. you stay in a condo on the golf course, 2 pools, 3 9 hole courses and about 10 minutes from several beaches. wrightsville is one of my absolute favorite beaches. be sure to stop at the blue water grille on the intercoastal waterway.
