as long as the kid wasn't slurring or threatening to kick his little brother's a*(, and it isn't a daily thing, this isn't anything other than distraction news.

OK question? since Tequila has a "burn" to adults ,wouldn't
the kid push back the cup after the first taste?
No really, the article read:
The apple juice and margarita mix were stored in identical plastic bottles, and the manager mistakenly grabbed the margarita container to pour the boy's drink, said Randy Tei, vice president for Apple Bay East Inc., which owns the franchise restaurant and nine other Applebee's in the San Francisco Bay area.
Do they have already premixed margaritas there? Otherwise, the manager would have to mistakenly grab the tequila and triple sec too!

That's what I didn't get about this story...I've worked in many restaurants. The alcohol is NEVER in the mix. We always had to add it. Ummm...and what about color? Lime green (or even good true lime juice) Margarita mix is a far cry from apple juice. I think something's fishy.RinglingRingling wrote:I've made the mistake of grabbing the tequila once or twice...Migration Michelle wrote:Maybe it was Silver Patron...goes down a little smoother!ragtopW wrote:![]()

that's what I was thinking......I KNOW the alcohol isn't in the mix here, because drinks have to be metered....but I wondered if that was just a Utah thing....carey24 wrote:That's what I didn't get about this story...I've worked in many restaurants.
