Hard to believe, but misspellings continue to appear even in Key West!

Last week I saw a print ad for the Chart Room bar at the Pier House Resort on Duval St. that reads: "Where Jimmy Buffet made more than one appearance....."

My last name is misspelled and mispronounced all the time. I no longer correct people unless it concerns anything important such as medical stuff and taxes. Then I care.

And it NEVER fails, if I'm giving my name to someone (doctor's office, buying tires or whatever...) they always say, "So it that spelled L.O.U.I.S."?

I'm never ever bothered, but I'm always so humored and surprised. Lewis isn't a rare name, and I've never known over anyone with the last name "Louis".
