Thanks HOB.CA for the pre-sale!
Sec 201, row YY.
4 good seats !
I hope I can get the time off work.
The tailgate was fine 2 years ago. But the Maple Reefer's Parrothead club put on a great party on site at the venue.

I took a bus with the local Parrothead club last time around because there was a big fear that there'd be no tailgating - but there was. Despite a heavy downpour prior to the show, the lot was full of tailgaters when we pulled in. You just have to be discreet: don't flaunt the fact that you're drinking (bring it in cans or cups, and don't wander out of the lot and onto the adjacent public lands), don't start a bonfire, etc.chippewa wrote:Nice. Inside an amusement park, and Canukians can't do the big tailgate thing, but the pre-parties are fun.

Its in a Provincial Park so there is a no alcohol rule. But the park guys are cool aboot it if you keep everything on the DL.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

Got seats in sec 302
...awesome!!!!!This will be my first JB concert(can't cross the border
).
One question it said that express delivery will take 2-3 business days....and it says "your tickets will be sent 5 days before the event"...is this really true?I'm in Nova Scotia so we can't just leave on Wednesday and be there in plenty of time.
Somebody please deliver me some good news on this

Sounds like Jones Beach. It's a NY State Park so there's no alcohol but the police don't bother you unless you give them a reason to.Left Field ParrotHead wrote:Yep...chippewa wrote:Nice. Sounds aboot the same. In '05, I was pouring margarita's into plastic cups as park guy walks by. I looked at him like a deer in headlights.LIPH wrote:Sounds like Jones Beach. He says "no problem, just keep everything in the plastic cups and its cool." He gave me a quick fist bump and off he went. Nice guy.
One rule though. Do not party on the boulevard between the park and the street. That land is owned by the City of Toronto and you will get ticketed for drinking there.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

One year at Jones Beach we had a folding table set up like a bar with all the booze and mixers on it. The State Park Police were driving around the lot all day, one of them stopped, got out of the car and told us "Do me a favor, put a blanket or a towel over that stuff so I won't see it the next time I drive by."Left Field ParrotHead wrote:Sounds aboot the same. Damn!
When I first tried, I got a single in section 100, but didn't like the price: why does a $75 ticket cost $124?
So, I thought I'd go for Lawn, but "there aren't enuough adjacent seats"...
And now there are section 300s for the $1124....
Lefty, will you share?
I'll keep trying but someone may have to bail me out!
