That settles it!
First day of Summer, our son's college orientation w/parent orientation as well, and Go Skateboarding Day!
I was thinking about looking sort of like a normal dad for the two days in Kalamazoo, but what the heck.
I'll leave the Vans as well as the flips at home, and cruise the campus of WMU on my G&S 44 pintail.
Mrs. Lboard will ride the Gravity Classic Concave I guess.
Why give our kid a break this time?
you are the coolest dad ever!

I've only heard that one time before - and that was from a 13 year old on a skateboard site when I was explaining how to justify the need for more than one board to parents.
It's nice to know that an adult can think so too! Thanks!
One day my keets will understand.

Flip flops are evil and must be destroyed. I hate that annoying slapping sound they make when you walk, I don't need to know someone's walking down the hall in the office 5 minutes before I can see them. 99.9% of the population has ugly feet that I don't need to see. If I, and all of my male co-workers, have to wear real shoes to work, even with a business casual dress code, women should have to wear real shoes too.
JB: "No sane person would wear shoes unless they had to."
JJW: "Life's too short to wear tight shoes."
Des: "Shoes are the ultimate work of the devil!!! "

Shall we agree to disagree, younger man dear to my heart?
I NEVER wear anything else!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't worn closed toe shoes in 3 1/2 years!!!

I wouldn't wear flip flops in New York either.

With the wearing of flip flops comes the supreme responsibility of seeing to it that ones tooties (and all adjoining foot related parts) are thoroughly fit for viewing by the general public and are kept looking absolutely delectable for the duration of their exposure. If your feet are in need of hygienic attention, keep 'em covered.

Oh, and I'm with Connie! Every day is National Flip Flop Day for me! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
