GOOBERS!
Haven't had those since I lived in Georgia 100 years ago!!

Around here, it's the fresh fruit.......peaches, raspberries, apples, cherries...sadly, the orchards are starting to disappear....

We have a pretty good NY style place here.
I always liked it, but I cannot count
the times I have heard NY accents
in the place stating how great the pie is..

Godfather's.... their special.

only place I have seen one in years is down in Gulf Shores.
I have a Godfather's Pizza right down the street from me.
Along with great Tex-Mex, BBQ, (real) Dr. Pepper, and Coca Cola made with cane sugar (from Mexico).

Oh, and love the fresh Peaches from East Texas & other fruits from the Texas Valley.

Funny you should mention Pizza Hut and "not in Kansas anymore" in the same sentence since Pizza Hut originated in Wichita, Kansas.

It's beer....maryland beer. And thank god for maryland crabs. :D

Best local food here is Yuengling. Hee Hee.

And, we have scrapple, funnel cake, dutch fries, shoo-fly pie, chow-chow (although i'm not hardcore lancaster-county enough to eat it!), some Serious sausage sandwhiches complete with peppers and onions and sauce, Lebanon bologna (which p*** the people from kutztown off, because THEY actually invented it, not the people from Lebanon county), summer sausage, pretzels. Kielbasa and stuffed cabbage if you go to my relatives. Philly cheesesteaks if you go a little further. :P
