I think being stoned would give you a different take on:
The Dead
The Allman Brothers, especially the jams/instrumentals.

I can't take most jam type music. Have been to a few dead shows and Allman Brothers concerts in my time and would put them on this list. Although mr oc no longer partakes in anything stronger then ginger ale and still loves the Dead and some other bands I'd put in this category. ThanK God for head phones.
