Wrigley has enough bars surrounding the field to constitute plenty of "tailgating".

I know I was having a blast at Murphy's!

Well, it barely made a dent in the charts here. And his latest album, Take the Weather With You? Available only Import.
It's kind of a Catch-22: Jimmy understandably doesn't focus much on Canada because he's not hugely popular, but he's not hugely popular because he doesn't focus much on Canada. Prior to his 2005 show in Toronto, the last time he'd played here was 1996. Even in 2005, I think there were still some lawns and maybe a few pavilion seats available on the day of the show.
That's not to say there aren't a lot of fans (and some hardcore ones) here - there are: there's a Toronto Parrothead club and at least two more - in Hamilton and London - within a two hour drive.
There are a ton of places in the States that Jimmy could play and sell out in the blink of an eye, so I'm thankful he's coming. I'm sure by the time the show rolls around, it'll be a virtual sell out.
Amen....you said it.
Not our fault he doesn't come here more. I will drive 7 hours to see him. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
