its very simple stop playing all the covers songs!!!!play jimmy buffett songs!!and even though jimmy does some covers very well,we dont need them in the setlist.his songs are better and he doesnt address his whole catalog in concert.he goes years without playing entire albums in concert.

After being at the Camden show last nite, I have to say that it was very refreshing to hear some songs he hasn't played year in and year out. While I really enjoy hearing and watching the crowd react to the staple songs, to me the best part of show was hearing him play : The Weather is here, Stars on the Water, That's My Story, Treat Her Like a Lady, Hula Girl, and King of Somewher Hot.
I know a lot of crowd gets that deer in headlight look when he plays songs like these, but I totally enjoy hearing him play these.

Gotta keep fins. Watching 20,000 people move their "fins" to the left, then to the right is such an awesome sight!
You really think so??
I think it looks rather silly...like a huge "simon says" fest...maybe for a bunch of kids...but I never play along.
Lose your self in the music and enjoy the now!
You obvously don't know me...anyone will tell you how much fun I have and how silly I act...there is a difference betwen silly and stupid.
To me...FINS is stupid...just my opinion...

Or his "baseball" song - Glory Days - Was just horrid, and its NOT EVEN ABOUT BASEBALL.
Actually it is, right from the top...

I had a friend who was a big baseball player,
back in high school.
He could throw that speed ball (??) by ya'..
make you look like a fool, boy...

..but I agree with you... Jimmy's version bites it :-?
as do the others listed, and...

I just CANNOT tolerate his tribute to his ol' bud, Warren Zevon
when he does Werewolves of London... Warren must be spinning like a prop
:x

He could get away with Lawyers, Guns, and Money, though
Those lyrics would suit him just fine, methinks :P

I think my gripes essentially stem from the idea that familiarity breeds contempt. So here are the songs I have grown very tired of hearing.

1. Five O'Clock Somewhere

Jimmy, I know you're grateful that your duet with Alan Jackson on HIS CD parlayed into huge commercial success with License to Chill, but enough's enough! The song has grown tiresome.

2. Brown Eyed Girl

BORING. Even Van Morrison's version has become a nails on chalkboard, grating, cliche of a once fun song.

3. Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Once a great song. Now another cliche. I know it helps you and the Outback group sell cheeseburgers. But people have spent $50 to $150 for 3 hours of fun. We don't need the commercial and you're still gonna sell a gazillion burgers. Plus in the mid 90's you, yourself were tired of the song.

4. WDWGDAS

I think you listened really well. Thanks for removing this one from the set list. It was like being slowly poisoned each time you played it.

As to new additions:

Love Elvis Presley Blues! And he shook it like a hurrrricane! I know u didn't write it, but it's such a great song and you play it wonderfully!

Reggaebilly Hill - Another great, great song.

Wish List:

Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On - One of your best songs ever. Not sure if you wrote it, but it is an amazing, amazing song.

Cowboy in the Jungle

Incommunicado

The Wino amd I Know

Migration

Not to get rid of EVER:

One Particular Harbor - Your finest "popular" song

Changes in Latitude - The Mantra for PH's Round the World!

Thanks, Jimmy!
I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.
Too much for me, too much for me
