Sail On, to my best friend

Jessie, my Golden Retreiver. For 16 1/2 years the best dog you could possibly ask for, died yesterday after suffering a stroke on Thursday. I don't know if I can ever have another dog, because this one so so wonderful. Never a problem, kind, gentle, loving, protective and smarter than most humans I know. God, I'm going to miss her. Awww honey....I know your pain all to well, as do so many others. Rest assured Jessie Bear had lots of friends waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge, as they wait for us to join them.

I am so very, very sorry.

Lord God, Bill. I'm very sorry for the loss of your best friend.
Same age as my Merlin, whp's really showing his age too.

All we can do is love them and cherish the love they return to us.

I'm so sorry for your loss

I too once had a golden retriever "Stokes", he was the coolest dog in the world he use to come down to the beach with me and phriends and we'd go surfing and Stokes would just swim through the lineup sometimes as high as 6ft swells and just chill with us out there.

I am sorry to hear this Cubbie.. It has been a long time since I lost a dog, and I can't begin to put the thought into words.

My condolences to you and St. Norma, and the girls. It doesn't say enough, but it is the best I can do. :S
