PLANTATION FLORIDA CIP OPENING-(BEST OF ALL)
TALLAHASSEE

MAY BE ADDING TORONTO THIS YEAR

NOT NEAR AS MANY AS I WOULD LIKE!
DOH! I forgot Plantation CIP opening on my list.

hmmmm...I'm wondering if I met you there :o I was the 3rd person in line and got the spot right in front of Jimmy at the stage. That was the best!
Could have, I was about #12 or so in line. I went in to the restaurant across the hall to get a drink while waiting in line, finally a bar maid came out and took drink orders, sheesh :D
Any of these "heads" you....
Image
The gal in the white cowgirl hat is in my spot. I went back to get my camera after Jimmy had been singing a while. Tried to get back there but no way would she let me. If I ever have this chance again I'll stay put and forgo the pics! I do remember when the bar maid came out to get drink orders some nice gentleman bought drinks for several people in the front of the line-me included! There were several people behind me in line that had flown in (someone's private jet :o ) from Texas. You must have benn just behind them?

Flowerfield Girl wrote:Hey Conched, I will have to round up those pictures, scan them, get them digital and figure out how to post them here. Or email them to you.

I haven't looked at most of those in years!

Poplar Creek is the name of the one I couldn't remember, but I saw someone else posted it and I then remembered.

Our goal for next year is to have 5 generations at a concert. My grandma a Rockin' 90 year old (drives a brand new Monte Carlo SS), my folks have been several times, my kids who started going when they were 11 and 12 and now my 8 year old grandson who is a huge phan. His favorite is Knees of My Heart. And of course my husband and myself. We will get pavillion tickets hopefully somewhere around the sound board, since that seems to be the most calm area for grandma. She will probably handle it better than my folks.
That would make a great FEATURE story for the COCOTEL! I hope it happens for y'all!!
