Juice in the Blender

Post by mjeischen »

How do you provide juice to your blenders at a tailgate? I'm hoping for a few blenders and a nice sound system but how do i power it all and still start your car 8 hours later?

We all know cigarette lighter jack thingys are utter crap.

Any thoughts and if you don;t mind share your cost. I'm completely perplexed as to how to cost effectively power my party.

Thanks for you help in advance!

I drive past there once a week . . . I was thinking of calling on the rental places this week while I am off . . . I'm to the point I am tired of the endless planning and putting together but I guess I do it to myself.

i've been looking at one of these for storm usage/beach party/ tailgating
etc.
they are rechargable powerpack so no noise no gas to deal with etc
price isnt too bad depending on how often you would use it, if you goto alot of games and concerts etc. i have a small generator but hate dealing with the noise and gas

We bought a drillblender for this year's show. Bringing along 4 drills and 8 batteries so we never run out of juice. These were a great deal!

http://www.drillblender.com/ or google it for other sources.

We have a 5000watt generator that powers everything we bring. We will have 2 frozen concoction makers, stereo, lights, etc... We just place it at the back of our bus and the noise is not an issue.

I bought a 750w inverter from Sears for about $50. I've used it to run blenders and stereos for a few years now with no problem. Any decent inverter will have a safety switch that monitors your battery level and shuts the inverter down if the battery starts to get low.

Depending on how much you will use it you might think of buying a generator. I have a small Honda that is quite, I figured I would save money in the long run and some of the ones I rented crapped out on me half way through the party. It's hard to trouble shoot a generator when your half in the bag, kicking it usually dosent' work.
