Weather was perfect, great setlist, and the band was in top form. We had a great spot front and center on the lawn, and not even 1 encounter with a drunken idiot. By far, the best show I've seen.

inked-parrotthead-- That was Capt. Quint at the HI, not the Boat Drunks, but it was bad the way the head janitor or whoever that idiot was made them quit in the middle of a song. There was some kind of mix up there. The band thought they were supposed to play to 1 AM.
OOOPS,Had boat drunks on my cd,player....was still riding the party wave when I posted that, whip me with a wet noodle!!
Did anyone else see the review in the post gazzette on Mon.(pittsburgh post gazzette) I dont have a link to it but this guy is no fan and I think it sounded like he didnt even go to the concert ,He also said Jimmy handed a corona(it was a landshark) to an audience member. It was a bad article.Mrs Inked sent the writer an e-mail,wish I had a link to it,you can probally find it on pittsburgh post gazzettes web-site.

Other than the bad corona reference, how was that a bad article? I think it is a pretty objective review of the show.
P.S.: I really hope that these concerts don't turn into big "Landshark Beer" commercials.
"Key West trades in on the name 'Hemingway." You can't take a leak without seeing Hemingway this and Hemingway that. And the irony is, if Hemingway were alive today he'd take a blowtorch to Duvall Street." Hiaasen

moe phins wrote: Thanks Jimmy for another fantastic show. Great weather, good food and even better friendly folks! My cousin Rebecca was sitting in the front row and when Jimmy came out on the bike, he had a LandShark lager bottle and gave it to her. She was sooooooo excited and shaking! She asked the security guard if he was going to take the bottle from her (open container). Fortunately, he said no, its for you to keep!! What a bonus. At the end of the show, her husband got one of Jimmy's wrist bands. Those 2 are so lucky! Well, till the next show....Hope to see someone in Vegas in Oct. Love you Jimmy!!!!!!
I was sitting right beside her then! She was adorable... she's like... I'm dying right now!
agreed. this show was amazing! I wish we would have had more time in the parking lots though. We got there around 4 and actually still needed to find tickets. we walked around until 7 and found NOTHING but a few stragglers in section 9. we finally headed to the box office and got a bunch of pairs in section 2 row N !!! alll the stress from the hours of searching disappeared and I enjoyed the show as usual hope its not my last
Jamaica mistaica, do they normally have tickets at the box office or were you just lucky? The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to Cincinnati with some friends and they're just planning on going to the box office for tickets (lawn seats). I always have had my tickets prior to the concert, so I've never had to do that.
Weren't you there, Craiger? I KNOW I saw your Cherokee with the parrot on it...
Like Reefdiver said (And great picture by the way...I'll have to use it next year to show everyone here on the boards what to look for!), the Mrs. and I had an all-day childbirth class the day of the show, so we couldn't make it.
However, your eyes didn't deceive you- The Jeep is actually my mom & dad's, and they were there representin'.
