Sail On, Officer Stephen Anderson
Curtis Allgier has been a boil on the a$$ of society most of his miserable life......this breaks my heart.

More about Officer Anderson.......
I am so glad I took my pension at 20, I wish he would have....
."
ABC 4 has learned more about the corrections officer shot and killed Monday morning. Stephen Anderson transported Curtis Allgier to the U of U Orthopedic Clinic. What happened in the exam room is a sad loss for two different families; Anderson's wife and kids and for the correctional family.
Anderson's family, friends and co-workers are trying to comprehend this tragedy.
Executive Director of the Utah Department of Corrections Tom Patterson says, "This is a difficult time and certainly you can understand the trauma that some of our folks are going through right now."
Family members tell us 60-year-old Anderson was 100 percent a family man.
First cousin Mark Anderson says, "He lived for his family and quite honestly they lived for him."
Anderson had been a corrections officer for 22 years and could have retired two years ago, but he wasn't ready to leave the job.
Mark Anderson: "He loved what he did. Not a lot of people can say the love their jobs."
There are many words that can be used to describe Anderson: loving, loyal, and dedicated. But family members say there's one word that says it all.
Mark Anderson said, "I don't think there's a better word to use about Stephen other than compassionate. Compassion was what Stephen was all about."
Anderson leaves behind a wife and five kids. Officials tell us that Anderson's son - Shawn - also works in the Department of Corrections in the maintenance department.
Governor Jon and Mrs. Huntsman are offering their condolences. In a statement released this afternoon, in part, they say, "We are grateful for the lifelong dedication of a true public servant who gave the ultimate sacrifice."

Very sad news indeed, Paige. Heartfelt prayers to the family of this exemplary human being.
I'll be sure to wear my black band on my badge tomorrow evening at work.
And thank God Utah is one of the COMMON SENSE states and will ensure that SONOFAB*TCH gets justice. Too bad they can't tie each arm and each leg to four different police cars and have them drive off in four different directions.
THIS IS FOR OFFICER ANDERSON AND HIS FAMILY:
BLUE ANGELS
I see their golden wings
And some silver ones too,
These angels of heaven
Men who once proudly wore the blue.
Where once sat a shiny hat
Now rests a halo of light,
The chest that once was dressed in blue
Now is clothed in flowing white.
Though you may not see the badge
That was worn on their earthly chests,
It still shines brightly
Within their heavenly breasts.
They now walk
A heavenly beat,
Through pearly gates,
Along golden streets.
Above a star filled sky,
With a heavenly view,
Rise the songs these angels sing,
Angels forever in blue.

Saw the story yesterday morning. Killer is a skinhead with jailhouse Aryan tattoos all over his face, scalp, and chest. Somehow, I get the feeling the crying is over getting caught, not having committed the crime.

As I understand it this scum is in protective custody because someone is afraid that he might get hurt if released into the general population. It is a shame that we have to spend the money to try him and let him appeal his conviction and sentences. Not only did this little pos kill a fine, upstanding man, but he endangered countless people on I-15 during his high speed chase and then when he finally gets cornered in Arby's he tries to shoot the clerk. Luckily his gun didn't fire and one of the customers were able to tackle him.
I hope that he suffers a long, long time before he dies.
