I like Corona and drink it regularly.
When Landshark was first available at Margaritaville, I went over and ordered a Landshark and a Corona and tried them side by side.
Yes Landshark is obviously trying to mimic the look/style of Corona - clear bottle similar color etc, but I did not and do not like the Landshark flavor compared to Corona.

I like Corona for what it is, a light, vacation beer. I actually prefer Sol to Corona. I tried one LSL at M'ville in KW and didn't like it that much. I resisted the urge to pay $7 for one in Camden last night.
I also bought some of the Miller Chill, which tasted ok in the parking lot yesterday.

A trivia tidbit: For Corona commercials, they pour the Corona out of the bottle, and replace it with Negra Modelo, it looks better on camera.

you mean Corona not only tastes like, but it looks like weak burro urine?

I never did like Corona. I DO like Tequiza.
I'd like to have a chance to taste it but it isn't available here and probably won't be for a while.
From what Larry says, I'm not sure I want to drink a donkey-balls taste-alike.

I'd be worried if you knew what donkey balls tasted like.

Larry, I don't know if it's because you're really funny or I'm really tired, but you are cracking me up.
So, here's my two cents worth. I think LSL is better than Corona. I don't think either one of them is anything to write home about. I would not have bought LSL if it wasn't a JB-related product. Bought one six pack to try at home, and bought another six for Camden yesterday because I knew other people would want to try it. It tastes like what it is: a light bodied AB product, and therefore, they should be charging what they charge for other light bodied AB products, $5/six-pack instead of $7.50.

That would pretty much be my review. So much for originality.

I think it's because you're really tired. I usually only make women laugh, and even then not until I take my pants off.

I'll agree with you there. I tried one the other week in Gulf Shores when we had lunch at LuLu's. It wasn't bad. They have what they call a loaded LandShark where they add a shot of Bacadi Limon to the bottle. That was pretty good.
That being said, at the price it goes for, I wouldn't make it my choice of beer to have on hand at the house for popping open during a game, or to take tailgating in the fall, etc. I might splurge and get some to take to tailgate before a Buffett show, or some other special occasion, but it won't be my everyday beer of choice.

That's just it. There are so many other beers at the same price that are so much better tasting. My cooler yesterday had 6 six-packs: LSL, Brooklyn summer, sierra nevada summer, pacifico, red stripe, and some Columbian lager I'd never heard of. All of those were the same price and had so much more flavor.

If you like Corona Light, LSL is right up your alley. Otherwise, I don't think I'd bother.
And I have to agree with the posters above about the price. It's, at best, average beer if it was sold in the same price range with other A-B products or Corona. But at the price they're asking, there are much better alternatives.

My favorite kind is cold beer. I have some Landshark in the fridge now, among other kinds. I wasw in Panama City Fla. this past weekend. I visited several local establishments and observed several people enjoying it.

I was also at PCB last week. We saw ton of people drinking LSL at the bars and on the beach. Had my first LSL. Tastes a little like Corona Light with a little lime flavor. I liked it. Hope it makes it to Georgia soon.

I tried it for the first time yesterday also, I find it tastes better than Corona but then again the only time I ever drank them was at a concert. It's not a bad beer for an afternoon in the parking lot but it won't stop me from drinking yuengling daily.

Interesting you should mention that, LIPH... You know how the gringos like to put lime in their Corona?
Apparently, Anheuser Busch is marketing donkey balls in their LSL - to compete with the lime in Corona... Not sure it'll catch on though...
