It's 10:43 AM/CST (Friday June 29) and I can't tell if it's a live concert or what, but a horrible version of the Spanish "Margaritaville" and "This Hotel Room" (from a Cincinnati show) just got played and were both just awful.

Anyone else hear this but me? In both Jimmy sounded like he absolutely did not care to put on a good show, and he messed up "This Hotel Room" REALLY bad. I know that happens and I'm not criticizing JB (you can't ALWAYS be perfect). I'm just wondering why the hell Steve played those versions.

didnt hear it but "this hotel room" is one of my favorite of his, too bad hat 1-rm played a bad live version, and 2-when it was played live(rarish) it wasnt good. oh well

two cuts, part of the Buffett Buffet. I kinda like the cover of M'ville, sounding like a cheesey Mexican bar band..

And yeah, he did muff the "This Hotel Room", but then, he did that in PGH the other night with a song too.

not sure if it was live, or "live". It was part of the CD released with M'ville Tequila's release. Two songs I think on the disc.

Whatever it was, it sounded like a disaster. Totally devoid of emotion.

I think I can remember him doing that version in concert occasionally around the time Margaritaville Tequila came out. Either way, still puzzling to me.

He almost sounded like he was high...
