More than likely not too $$$
Service is with Cingular the new AT & T with MORE dropped calls than ever
!!! I HATE THEM and yes they are my carrier - until I find one that I like and change for the first time in 12 years! I have had my phone forever and a day - the carriers changed themselves from one to another.
Sorry about the rant

ATT/Cingular has an exclusive 2 year agreement, it will be at least that long before any other companies can sign on.surfpirate wrote:Nah. Absolutely no desire at the current price/features/network. I'll give them a year or so to work out the bugs. By then they'll hopefully also expand to other networks so AT&T/Cingular is not the only option. I use Verizon Wireless. By then the price will also be dropping and the features will be better.
In the meantime I'll stick to my blackberry for mobile phone, internet, IM and email and use my iPods for music if I want that.

Have you upgraded your phone? They may be phasing out the kind of signal your phone uses.karat wrote:More than likely not too $$$

I started dropping calls 3 months ago...just about the time they changed. And the phone is from December. They keep telling me about network updates and bs like that... they just stink like a pile of steaming...Coconuts wrote:Have you upgraded your phone? Can't see why I'd need to look at photos, surf the web, or whatever the hell else it does.
All I really need is my tunes. The rest is overkill.
I hear there could be problems working the keyboard.
Besides it's so fancy looking that I'm not sure it would survive my manly, rugged lifestyle.
I need one with toggle switches and diamond plated steel or rhino liner.

wLarrys plus texts. I'm kinda a text addict. But I never use the camera or video on my phone.LIPH wrote:The only thing I need a phone for is to make calls and receive calls. Anything else is a waste.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

That too...I have used that on many an occasion, including a couple times this past week, and I'm sure I'll use it in college next year.ragtopW wrote:jonesbeach10 wrote:wLarrys plus texts.
