I didn't but I want one really bad. However, I am going to give them 6 mo's to a year to work out the bugs. Not to mention that they are going on Ebay from $1200 - 2500. I guess some people have more money than sense.

Not even a birthday present, Des. I only got it b/c it was my free one that you get w/ Verizon's "new every two" program. And b/c my old was starting not dial the numbers that you pushed every time.

Not available in Canada yet.

I Don't need it or want it....A regular cell phone works fine with me!!!!...it just gives people more to do while driving!!!

Reminds me of some advice my dad gave me (note to Surfpirate: sometimes daughters DO listen to what you tell them! )

He told us never to buy a car the first year that a model was introduced. Let the maker work out the bugs and then if you still want that particular type of car, buy it.

I'll wait until the price drops, AND they get affiliated with a better network. Rumour has it that Verizon had first shot at the iPhone and passed because it was too easy to bypass the "we are going to sell you everything from Ringtones to Hold Music" features on the VZW network.

I'm not a big cell phone guy, it sits in my truck as I speak...
but I am an iPod and Mac addict and as Apple products go, they are the gold standard for ease of use and just plain cool
