Earth Wind and Fire @ Harvey's Outdoor Arena

Post by trojan_sixtyone »

I'm going to see Earth Wind and Fire for the first time next week while I'm in Reno/Lake Tahoe.

Anyone seem EWF in concert before?

Anybody been to Harvey's Outdoor Arena before?

I love their music and am really, REALLY looking forward to it!

They're, in my humble opinion, the finest funk band of all time, along with Parliament and Tower of Power.

I think it's a relatively new venue, built with one of the latest rounds of casino expansions.

The Mexican place you're talking about isn't Cabo Wabo, right?

Agreed. Herbie Hancock. Rick James. It's all great.

Just remember my personal motto: "Don't fake the funk." :D
