It's not too far away! I'm pumped up. I'm a Titans fan so I have no idea what to expect. Vince is great, but the guys he has to throw too...ummm...I'm a little uneasy.

I will start my year long arrogance now . . . Pats got to the AFC Championship and were 1 score away from another Super Bowl. They went out and go Pro Bowl Defense men and people for Brady to throw the ball to - in order of significance:

1. Stallworth
2. Welker
3. Moss . . .

I love Moss for the deep threat but the other two will earn their catches!
I love all the Bandwagon Pats fans....where were the Fans when they played at Foxboro Stadium....i could walk up and get a ticket for 20.00 and sit on the 50 yard line!!!...such fair weather fans....when they start losing after probably the Brady years.....you will find a empty stadium...like they do with the Bruins and the Celtics!!!

and you could say they got lucky with a bad call against the Raiders....tuck...please!!
I guess I am a fare weather fan because I grew up loving the Celtics of the 80's and now I refuse to watch . . . I never stopped watching the Red Sox, though . . . and the only time I stopped watching the Pats was when they weren't on tv becasue they were so bad . . .

I have been on the season ticket list now for 10 years for the Pats . . .have a losing year please!
Funny thing is i'm on the list...and i'm not a Pats fan...but my brother is a season ticket holder ...so i do get to a game.....but seriuosly back when the Pats were bad......nobody in Mass. really talked about them.....back in the 80's it was Sox...Celts....Bruins(when Boston was a huge hockey town) then the Pats.

i was always a Knicks fan.....good and bad i watched...why i don't anymore is i hate the pro-game and how most of the players represent the league!!!...and the Mets...enough said!!
Tom, geographically you're a hard guy to figure out what teams you like.....
What do you expect, he lives in Connecticut.
I know. i am just giving a him a hard time...all in good fun!

Remember this,

Patriots were also ONE play away from being ONE and DONE last year.
If Chargers' Marlon McCree kneels on his INT in the dying minutes,
SD goes onward with home field advantage

One mental lapse was the difference. :-?

Can't wait for the NE v. SD rematch in Week 2 8) :P
We embarrassed Pats and ended their homefield win streak last time we visited

Yeah because that game mattered so much, right? Tell LT to toughen up and to watch his mouth during press conferences - he comes off as a punk. I bet San Diego does not win 10 games this year . . .

Oh . . . and picking San Fran (or the Titans) this year is not an upset pick . . . for all you people who were going to do it I just wanted to set a precedent . . .

I don't have an upset pick this year . . . but Buffalo should be much better than the experts claim.

LT is this year's Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award winner given for performance both on and off the field.

He's a hell of a lot more of a good citizen than Randy Moss ...or Tom Brady for that matter

Randy's a great player...when he wants to be. Ladanian, though, could go down as the greatest running back ever one day. What I respect about him is he doesn't jaw like Randy or Terrell for that matter. He can run, catch, and even throw every now and then. I think he's tough enough. I'm picking San Diego to win more than 10 and meet the Colts in the AFC Championship possibly. But don't get me wrong...New England will be right up there with both of those teams.

I'm going the the week 3 game between GB & SD.

My 2 favorite teams Packers & Chargers, AND there is a very good chance that Favre breaks Marinos TD pass record that week.

Football is a sport where you get Fans in a lot of different geographic locations....Tons of Cowboy fans...Steeler...Raiders and Viking fans out there in this area

So give him a cookie . . . what the hell does that mean? Good citizen . . . I was talking about running his pie hole like a whiny little girl after he lost the biggest game of his career . . . or perhaps I should say after his team lost. I don't know what LT does off the field and I don't care . . . what players do is their business . . . don't run your mouth at a press conference because it is pointless bitching.

This is what I love about football. The Colts and Pats are obviously a huge rivalry, especially since the Colts started beating them. Before then the Pats had Manning's number. Now the Chargers may have something going with them. It's great for the game. Between those three teams and a few others like the Ravens, the AFC will easily be the powerhouse again.

The Chargers were suppose to be the most dominate team in the NFL last season. Hosting a playoff game after a bye week and playing a team who had to fly 3,000+ miles who did not have a bye and were also playing without several key starters that game should not have come down to a brain lapse by a Chargers DB making the difference between victory and defeat.
The Chargers were a soft overrated team who got punched in the face and the only reaction they could muster was whining that the other team danced on their logo

"Lights Out"
