Philip Rivers is NOT playing well at all :-? :-? :-?
Gotta love it when a LB has more offensive yards than last years offensive MVP.
Unless Rivers starts finding his wideouts sooner than finding DB's with his passes,
defenses can just just siack up the line to stuff LT. We are really missing Eric Parker out there.
We have to be able to spread it around, and that wasn't happening last night.
Give credit to NE for standing up big time in the face of a difficult week.
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!

Ouch. I'm in a quandry now. The Chargers are not playing well.

I have 2 favorite teams.....one in the AFC, one in the NFC.
If they happen to play each other, I decide who to root for based on which team is better. If team "A" has a better chance of being a contender than team "B", then I root for team "A". And visa-versa.

My teams are the Chargers and the Packers.

They play next week....I might even be at the game.

The Chargers are supposed to be a contender...but have played like crap.
The Packers are supposed to be a non-factor...but have played very well!

Who do I pull for?????

I vote Packers. Denver needs all the help it can get from losing conference teams. There's no way we can sustain the whole season with games like our first two.

So....Cindy, let me ask you...

So if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags", and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs", what does that make the Tennessee Titans?

I liked Howie Long's take on "cameragate" and the way he told off Terry Bradshaw. He said "If anyone thinks the Pats are the only team doing it, they're naive." I've heard, that many GMs think it's kinda ironic that the Jets are the ones who narc'ed on the Pats, considering the Jets have been known to be doing the same thing ( Mangione probably learned it from Belicheck...lol).
Even Jimmy Johnson and John Madden yesterday gave examples of ways they used to try to get info on the other teams when they coached. The only difference is, the Pats got caught and were made examples.
In some ways, this is probably the best thing that could happen if you're a Pats fan. In the past, the team identified themselves as underdogs, and it kept them tight as a team, and hungry.
With their acquisitions this past off season, it was hard to keep the underdog label. But now, they have a new reason to circle the wagons, and prove themselves once again.
Look out NFL, the Pats are coming. when they're done, there will be no doubt they won it all with heart, talent and desire.

At the end of the SD/NE game I was reminded of the end of the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!". They show Admiral Yamamoto and his famous quote: "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve."

Look out NFL! The Pats are pretty good and will only get better. They needed a rallying cry to keep them focused over the season and now they have it.

I was projecting them to be 13-3, but since they won a game I thought they might lose, I'm upping it to 15-1. The only team I fear now are the Colts.

Talk to me after you've played the Ravens. Steelers have just 2 tough teams on their schedule (Ravens & Pats). They can settle it for real when Pitt comes the town on Dec. 9.

Ah yes, it's so nice to see the Eagles and the Giants at 0-2. My boys winning too. The only bad thing is that the Cowboys won this week.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

If a team with the chance to win its 4th Super Bowl in 7 years needs something like this to get them going, it doesn't say much for Belichick's skills as a motivator.

HAIL to the Redskins
Hail Victory.

Not pretty, but a W is a W. And this W is against an NFC East rival, not to mention that I picked them in the "BN Pro-Football Pick-Em" fantasy league.

LT says last week that the Patriots motto is "if you ain't cheating you ain't trying" ..... SD's must be "if you ain't gagging you ain't trying"

Talk about an over-rated, over hyped team. Maybe now the Chargers and their fans will STFU about last year's playoff loss. If they wanted to do anything about it they should have won Sunday.
