Football is a sport where you get Fans in a lot of different geographic locations....Tons of Cowboy fans...Steeler...Raiders and Viking fans out there in this area
I grew up in CT, and have always been a Cowboy fan (Capt. Flock--I knew you had taste!) I started watching football in the mid 70's when they were America's team, and even back then I was rebellious enough to go against my family of Giants fans.

Died hard fan of the Red Sox, stopped caring about the NBA years ago (about the same time the players stopped caring!) and was heartbroken when the Whale swam away. But I comfort myself with the knowledge that we have one of the best college b-ball teams in the country.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.

yeah and when the Cowboys put up a fight I will run to the hills like a little b**** but until then I think it is important for you to know that Tom Brady has people to throw the ball to this year . . . and he can catch an easy snap for an even easier field goal . . . scared yet punk? :o :)

Didja hear they changed the rule for this year so punters and holders can scuff up balls before the games like quaterbacks do? Gee wonder why they thought of that.  And Romo's got one hell of a receiver to throw it to. Too bads he always hits him where he can't catch it--his hands.

You know . . . seriously . . . I like Romo man, that kid can play and last year with Terry Glenn and TO I thought they would go far . . . better than Bledsoe, sure, but not far enough. Looking forward to see what happens with your new Coach.

Romo will be good, and in a few years he might be great. What worries me is that there defense is already better than their offense, and they brought in a head coach who is defensively minded. If they win a lot of games, it's going to be with scores like 14-10, 17-14, that sort of thing. The offense won't put up a lot, so the defense has to hold.

And, to be honest, I'm always scared of the Pats. They've definitely reloaded for this season.

I really don't see anyone who can touch them . . .:

1. Indy barely beat them and they have done nothing to rebuild
2. San Diego: I really think that they will go 10 - 6, 11 - 7 this year
3. Baltimore: Overrated.
4. Jets: come on . . . they are the Pats prom date every year . . . and the Pats don't call them bitches back - HA!!!!!!!!! (so wrong).
5. Denver: scary . . . but not quite . . . although I like Cutler.

Brady needs to keep his in the holster. He keeps reloading, and the Pats have a full team in about 20 years. :D

Yet another addition to Pacman's life of trouble. They're talking about him on ESPN getting traffic citations last month for a number of things. Things just keep adding up. Titans are my team, and I've been wanting them to get rid of him for over a year now. He's no good. He's why we drafted a DB first round of this year's draft. We had to replace our first pick from '05 because he keeps getting in trouble. There's no room on ANY team for him.

I'd like to think my Steelers will do well but I think there are going to be a few down seasons coming for them :( Faneca will be gone after the season or sooner if traded, Polamalu becomes an FA after this year, questions at various positions, new coach. Even worse, I work on Sundays now and will have to tape games and watch them when I get home  At 1PM on the opening Sunday of the regular season there will be loud crying coming from my cubicle

I will start my year long arrogance now . . . Pats got to the AFC Championship and were 1 score away from another Super Bowl. They went out and go Pro Bowl Defense men and people for Brady to throw the ball to - in order of significance:

1. Stallworth
2. Welker
3. Moss . . .

I love Moss for the deep threat but the other two will earn their catches!
Remember this,

Patriots were also ONE play away from being ONE and DONE last year.
If Chargers' Marlon McCree kneels on his INT in the dying minutes,
SD goes onward with home field advantage

One mental lapse was the difference. :-?

Can't wait for the NE v. SD rematch in Week 2 8) :P
We embarrassed Pats and ended their homefield win streak last time we visited
The Chargers were suppose to be the most dominate team in the NFL last season. Hosting a playoff game after a bye week and playing a team who had to fly 3,000+ miles who did not have a bye and were also playing without several key starters that game should not have come down to a brain lapse by a Chargers DB making the difference between victory and defeat.
The Chargers were a soft overrated team who got punched in the face and the only reaction they could muster was whining that the other team danced on their logo

"Lights Out"
Bolts weren't picked by many to finish where they did in AFC West last year.
LT certainly carried them when the other aspects, QB or defense, may have been stumbling.
I don't fault him for a second for reacting emotionally and calling out the Pats
when he could have pointed his criticism back at teammates.

As for Patriots dancing around like they'd never won a big game before...
We EMBARRASED Pats and ended their homefield win streak last time we visited
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!

celebrating after a win (albeit quite arrogant) is different than whining after you lost during a press conference and bad mouthing the other team's coach . . .

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Baltimore: Overrated.
Ravens never get any respect but that is what got them to their last superbowl and now that McNair knows the playbook and we got rid of three yard gain Jamal Lewis. You'd better watch out!!!
