WOW.. the Gators decided that they woudln't show up and the Dawgs did, despite that we tried to give the game away early.
Then SC what a disappointment, TN clearly had no idea how to stop them in the second half and when they needed to keep the momentum going, they folded.
Something I totally disagree with that I saw happen in that game, an offensive penalty allowed a second kick which caused a tie game, I don't care who you are or what team, that's just plain wrong.

How about them Clemson Tigers!!!!!?????

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Unless it had gone in the opposite way for TN and then you would have loved it. That is the way the game is played someytimes it works for you and sometimes it works against you.12vmanRick wrote:WOW.. the Gators decided that they woudln't show up and the Dawgs did, despite that we tried to give the game away early.

Speaking of wrong things, I had respect for Mark Richt until that stunt he pulled letting all the players come out on the field after the first touchdown. He should get a hefty fine for that little stunt, but probably won't. That was really a low class move on Georgia's part.

Just got back from Knoxville, and man what a hard loss! First half we looked like crap, second half we were rolling. Had are chances late to put it away but just werent able to!
Shot ourselves in the foot in the first half! All and all had a great time in Knoxville once again! Hopefully my Gamecocks can get it rolling next week!

Jason, I'm sorry. All I have to say are two words:
U-CONN!!!!!
I'm sorry. They're going to far apart as their season moves on and they play harder teams, so I have to be happy when I can. I keep an eye on the Gamecocks, thought, a friend of mine did her grad school there.

Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

And now as punishment for your crime of doubting the Hawkeyes you MUST attend every Iowa football game for the next 5 years!!!Wino you know wrote:Friday morning-12:30 AM C.D.T.

Totally agree.......I think more than a silly chump change fine should be levied......how about a supension of some sorts. It's one of the worst cases of premeditated bad sportsmanship I have ever seen from a coach!!!UAHparrothead wrote: Speaking of wrong things, I had respect for Mark Richt until that stunt he pulled letting all the players come out on the field after the first touchdown. Takes some of the lustre off a great Bulldog win in my opinion!
And I guess we HAVE to start taking Arizona State & Kansas seriously now!

Actually that's not true, I would have liked the win but still thought the rekick allowance was not fair. I do understand that sometime it works for/against. One of the things I noted was that knowing something like that could happen, a coach could tell the team to do it on purpose.UAHparrothead wrote:Unless it had gone in the opposite way for TN and then you would have loved it. Actually Mark only told the guys on the field to surround the guy making the first touchdown and the team misunderstood and all went out. That was according to news reports today. Me, I don't care. I know when TN beat UGA by 51 points in Athens they tore up the hedges and tore down the goal.. so.. speaking of low class
