VaTech Hokies at the Jackets of Georgia Tech on ESPN. Hokies were stunned by late rally last week by the Eagles of BC. Don't think they'll be able to bounce back in Atlanta tonight. Gimme the Yellowjackets!

The Good Doctor's weekend upset special.....Wisconsin Badgers to shock the Ohio State Luckeyes. Badgers have been off the radar for some time now & for some reason I think they'll let it all hang out this weekend.

Wolverines & Sparty hooking up........always am leery with those games up in East Lansing. Hoping "M" puts a healthy Henne & Hart on the field! Michigan by a TD.

The Sabin Bowl in Tuscaloosa........Bama hosting the LSU Tigers! Ya think the pholks in Alabama are stoked for this one!!!??? :o Nonetheless, Bama will have to play near perfect game in order to top the Tigers. LSU has been through a meat-grinder of games this year (all-be-it mostly at home) so we'll see if the week off has given the team a chance to get ready emotionally. Last play of the game miracle again maybe?

Maybe the REAL best team in the country, Oregon hosts undefeated Arizona State Sun Devils. Ducks have to overcome letdown after USC game, Sun Devils are banged up at the skill positions.......Ducks pull away in the 2nd half.

South Carolina goes to Arkansas....Coach Spurrier will have to show if the Cocks are contenders or pretenders against the Hogs. Something tells me McFadden shines in this game & gives the Hogs a close win. Sorry Jason!

Word in from Atlanta that someone broke into VT's locker room last night or this morning and stole 4 of the Hokies players jerseys. They are flying replacements in but they most likely will not make it before game time, so 4 Hokies will be wearing GT football jerseys tonight. This aired on our local news in Roanoke about 10 min ago.

Badger have won 4 of their last 6 against the Buckeyes. That includes 3 straight in Columbus.

Remember back when the Buckeyes couldn't ever beat Michigan? Now that they've gotten over that hump...the Badgers are the new rival.... :pirate:

Yes I know that Tressel has had his problems with the badgers. The only big ten team with a winning against the buckeyes. I do think the defense can handle the power game of Hill. The Buckeye offense is starting to roll.
The score THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY 31-Bucky and the Badgers 7
By the way it is 362 hours until the Buckeyes and Wolverines meet in Ann Arbor

Wolverines & Sparty hooking up........always am leery with those games up in East Lansing. Hoping "M" puts a healthy Henne & Hart on the field! Michigan by a TD. Leery was an understatement...Nice rally Wolves!!!

Beanie ball plus sacks

Buckeyes still perfect

What's the difference between the Badgers' punt team and a shady New York street vendor? The vendor sells better fakes

Vernon Gholston six sacks a team 10 sacks

I think BC is now ranked about where they should be...#8. They were never the second best team in the country. They still have a legit chance at the Orange Bowl, that would be a good accomplishment. Ohio State, Oregon and LSU, two of the three should be in the championship game.

Ah, the good ol' days. When we only ran about four different plays and still almost no one could stop us. :D Now we couldn't stop anyone if they were blind and running backwards.

Oh well. I'm heading up to Lincoln this weekend for Callahan's last home game. I just keep telling myself that it'll all be over soon. Two more games. Just two more games.

What's really sad is that I'm also a Denver Broncos fan and, early in the fourth quarter of yesterday's game, I found myself wishing I could go back to watching the NU/KU game. At least Nebraska's offense put up a fight, which is more than I could say of anyone on the Broncos yesterday. Blech. It was not a good football weekend.

As it stands now...i saw somewhere where UCONN and BC would end up in the Orange Bowl against each other!!

My Chips are headed back to the MAC championship game next month after tonight's win over those $%&*@ from Western Michigan. :D
Each team put up 24 points in the 4th quarter, Central Michigan scored with 12 seconds left to win, 34-31.
At least we put on a good show for national TV.
