the odd one here to me is that Tennessee even with a higher loss record should be ahead of us because of their ranking in the division and potential to go to the SEC. If you were going by a strict win/loss record then maybe but with the BCS thing it definitely should have them ranked above us.

sorry, theoretically VOLS higher, since they have a better chance to go to the SEC and they beat us, even with our record being overall better.

I agree with you obviously. However, we do have 3 losses, all of which were on national TV and two of which we looked really bad. That's what most voters have seen. I think GA is ranked a little high, but I'm all for SEC teams being ranked as high as possible. It will all come out in the wash.

Yea I know but it just seems weird and I don't believe Ga is as good as the rank shows either. They obviously look better than they did early on but so do most other teams.

Please just don't test Mike Hart or Chad Henne for illegal steroids this week.

I think part of it is that "what have you done lately?" mentality of the human polls.

Tennessee got blown out by an average Alabama team and just squeeked by South Carolina. Georgia, on the other hand, laid 40+ points on three straight opponents, and included in that was a pasting of the media darling Gators and Tebow.

Ohio State Luckeyes??? Are you jealous punks from Michigan still using that term. Luck happens once, maybe twice.....but game in and game out? I don't think so. Around here we call it skill, talent, better coaching.
Cheatin Bastards? You gotta do better than that..

Whah, they cheat mommy, that's the only way they beat us, whahhhhh.

Michigan wanted to beat the Buckeyes so bad this year they rested Hart & Henne at Wisky and lost so they could rest up and TRY to beat the Bucks. Now that's class and need I say desperation. That's funny!!!!....

Point A.....You're d*mn right we NEED to beat your Bucks this year. I was p*** but able to deal with losing the last couple years because Troy Smith was a very good quarterback who played phenomenal against Michigan but didn't happen to have it in the Title Game against Florida last year for whatever reason. :-?

Point B.....It made PERFECT sense to rest Henne & Hart last week against Wisky. Other than the rankings & pride, that game meant nothing as far as being crowned Big Ten champs & a trip to the Rose Bowl! And without Henne Qb'ing and Hart running the ball our chances diminish of winning the game against the Bucknuts. The fact is both of them will probably be lucky to finish the game or play at the level we need but nonetheless we've GOT to get what we can from them.

Regardless, you gotta admit that the juices get flowing when these 2 teams hit the field against 1 another!!! [smilie=thatworks.gif]

Uhhhhh....................did'nt we just dominate the top rushing offense in the nation and their Heisman candidate running back? Anytime you hold them to one TD, I think that's something. Just my opinion, though.

Well, I've been hearing today from many sources that Lloyd Carr will announce his retirement on Sunday or Monday and Les Miles will be announced as the new head football coach at Michigan. I've been hearing bits and peices for a while now about this, but its coming from several sources today. Michigan fans, Les Miles is not the answer. I think he's really not that smart and is very fortunate to have an awesomely talented team at LSU. Any coach will be lucky to get that job! I can't help but hope this will be a distraction for LSU in a couple of weeks if we get to play them in Atlanta! 8)
