A little disapointed it's a rematch game, although considering it's Purdue it should be entertaining.
Better than a Clemson or Kansas rematch anyway!!
Getting my tickets this week! Bowl game on the sunny shores of.....Lake St. Clair.

I don't understand the rematch either, but we're a much better team now than when we played them back in Sept. At least I hope we are. We'll score 30+....and might lose by three touchdowns.

James Laurenitis (sp?) from Ohio State won the Butkus award for best defensive player. Wonder if he learned his style from his dad?

Grand Valley State University located in Allendale Michigan lost its NCAA Division 2 National semi-final football game this past Saturday to Northwest Missouri State 34-16 and I call this game a travesty. Not because of the score, or by the performance of any players on the field, or officiating mind you.
My beef is the following:
How is it the NUMBER 1 TEAM in the country, UNDEFEATED this season, 2 TIME defending National Champions, WINNERS of 40 games IN A ROW, has to go ON THE ROAD to play a ONCE-BEATEN team in a playoff game?
Was Son of BCS involved somehow?
Are you gonna tell me the Patriots will have to go on the road to play in Cleveland of Jacksonville this playoff season??? Cowboys going to Metrodome to continue chance for Super Bowl??? Verrrrrry Stupid!!!

Sorry to harass you like that Melli. While I'd love to have Rich Rod come our way, Can't see him making the move. Sounds like he's committed to WVU and I don't blame him. Ex Michigan Assitant Nehlan committed to WVU and I TOTALLY respected him for it!!!

Color me shocked that Coach Rich Rod is coming to Ann Arbor!
The injection of new blood is definitely a boost for the Michigan program. Still need to shore up the defense but with Rodrieguez's offensive mind we should be fine there once the current guys pick up the system or Coach gets the guys he needs for the system. Not expecting BCS title game next season, think it'll take a little time to get everybody on the same page.
Memo to RB Noel Devine.........COME WEST YOUNG MAN!!!
Tough break for WVU. Have been a closet Mountaineer fan since the Nehlen years. Hopefull they'll get a great guy to continue keeping them atop the Big East!
Message to Coach Rod.....TAKE US TO THE BCS TITLE HOME COUNTRY ROADS!!!

A wild won in the Motor City Bowl last night. After a furious rally from 21 down Central Michigan fell to Purdue 51-48. Field Goal as time expired doomed the Chips. Was hoping this game was gonna go to OT. May have been the first 2 team triple digit score in history.
CMU Qb Dan Lefevour ran for 2 scores coming up short by 1 in his bid to join Heisman winner Tebow as the only Qb's to throw & run for 20 td's each!
Nonetheless, Boilers "W" bumps my college pick em record to 5-2. Thanks for nothing Boise State & Nevada!

Yeah... I know, I know!

I was planning on going, but i had decided to take my son to the Holiday Bowl in SD (He is a HUGE Arizona State fan...I don't know where that came from

) but he just started his first job and we decided to teach him responsibility and sacrifice. Soooo...I spent more fun tix on Christmas and now neither of us gets to see our team!
