Did you mean "the pot AND rum"???? It smelled like a ZZ Top concert circa 1977 last time he played The Shell.

I have the sales manager at Mai Tai Bar ready to book us for an early lunch that day. Great place to start the drinking. The free trolley can carry us from bar to bar down Waikiki throughout the afternoon. Once we get some "official" numbers and if everyone is onboard, I'll book it. She'll do specials and probably let us play some old Buffett cd's.
Count me in. Was thinking about working all or part of that day, but I can always be sick. I already took friday off to recover :o

We're in. I just got replies that my Waimanalo choices were booked, so I booked a beachfront studio at Kailua.

Party at the Play's place! :P

Where is everybody sitting? Seems like AA, BB, and CC were the popular spots.
enjoy the day!

If you like mahi-mahi, Buzz's in Kailua does an *awesome* job. Also in Kailua: fresh hot malasadas from Agnes Portuguese Bake Shop; and Boots and Kimos Homestyle Kitchen for breakfast - banana pancakes with Macadamia nut sauce - to die for!

GOD i am going to gain some SERIOUS weight on this trip!

Nah, you just walk it all off....

Climb Diamond Head or Makapu'u Point a couple of times. Hike out to Ka'ena Point in the heat of the day. Poof, no weight gain....

No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.

Socal Parrotheads on board for HI

Post by SoCalParrothead »

I am posting this everywhere. We are so excited to see him in HI. Please keep us posted on pre concert flockings. We are staying at a Sheraton that is 3/4 of a mile from the "SHELL".

We went cheap and picked up two lawn seats.

Shadows walk beside the water
Sad goodbyes whispered on the shore
Hear those wind chimes play
They serenade the shadow lovers
Sing and fade away

Since we're on the subject of hiking, is Sacred Falls still closed? I used to like going there as a kid but I know it was closed after the rockslide in 99.
