I'm sorry.. but can you please let us know where anyone twisted your words??? :-?

And please. Get back to us in 20 years, and let us know how everything worked out for you. :)
I am not sure why looking back at your life is a bad thing. We seem to enjoy it when Jimmy does it.

Nah. But perhaps you might be?? We all see and feel things differently at the many stages of our lives. :)
I prefer to think of it as wisdom gained from experience.
I s'pose I'd consider it trial-and-error. With emphasis on the error.
I have always learned more from the errors than the successes.

At my age, I am satisfied with who I am so I wouldn't change a thing, even the mistakes.
My biggest "mistake" turns 10 years old in just a few weeks.

:o :o she got older while I haven't seen her????

it's been?? three years?

Guess that we oldies need to stick together. And I cannot think of a better group to grow older, but not up with.

You know I look back on my life quite a bit. I have great accomplishments and great mistakes. I've grown up during a great time of awareness and change going on and lived through it. But by looking back on my life I'm also able to make sound decisions about my future. I guess some kids just really don't "get it".

I'm glad my 21 year old son does. I used to love it when he'd have his friends around and they're all into 70's music and he'd call me with 2 questions. Who plays this and have you seen them and usually his friends are awed because I knew the band and had usually seen them. I guess that I'm just used to young people that realize that us old people lived thru some really strange wild transforming times and aren't so narrow minded. Not everything from those times were good, some were not but if we didn't learn something from them that period of history was worthless.

I'm damn glad I lived when I did during the time I did.
