Buffett at Wrigley Today!

Post by headparrot »

A buddy of mine who works the luxury suites in Wrigley Field just called and left me a voicemail telling me that Jimmy is there watching the game today. I was supposed to be there today, but I couldn't make it to Chicago until tomorrow. I don't think he is singing the stretch however...just there to watch his beloved Cubs in the best park in the world.

He didn't do the 7th inning stretch, but last year he was up in the broadcasting booth for a while, so I did tape things just in case (of course it will be Sunday before I can check!)

I didn't see him, I am just a Beer vendor. I'd love to buy him a beer. I wouldn't even card him.

My friend said he was really incognito...baseball cap, shades and wrigley sweatshirt...no entourage.

Shook his hand as he left the suite and wished him a good show tomorrow.

Dammit, I'm gonna meet that man some day!

Do you know Scott Derenger...www.shaveyourhead.com ?

He's my buddy....works the dessert cart at the suites. Great guy and his manager Mike is cool as well.

Do you think he actually has to pay for his seat in the luxury box or does he just have to make a phone call to someone and get invited in?
