Route 495 . . . um, 95 is to the left - two different roads - { (unless you go the long way) } again, no need to yell . . . just trying to help.BottleofRum wrote:The bottom line is this, other lots MAY be opening early but we don't know for sure but we do know the Endzone is opening early so that should be the plan. As far as getting out of the Endzone after the show, a right turn and your on rt95, that won't be a problem unless you go left then you have to pass the stadium.
So back to the topic of meeting times. We all should try to meet at 9:30-10:00 at the Endzone then make our way into the lot. IF someone finds out a lot near the stadium is opened early then we can adjust on the fly.

Ok, well your are correct but if you take a right you can get on 495 very quick then if you head south down 495 for one exit (Exit#13) that is rt95 and you can go N or S! .drunkpirate66 wrote:Route 495 . . . um, 95 is to the left - two different roads - { (unless you go the long way) } again, no need to yell . . . just trying to help.BottleofRum wrote:The bottom line is this, other lots MAY be opening early but we don't know for sure but we do know the Endzone is opening early so that should be the plan. My hotel is off 495 so I am going right anyway.

yes . . . or, at the risk of being butchered, you can turn out of the parking and hit 95 2 to 2.5 miles North . . . the other way is kind of . . . um, harder - - - don't yell . . .TommyBahama wrote:actually you can loop around turning right out of the lot then getting onto 140 loop around go up north st i think it is and pick up 95!!!drunkpirate66 wrote:Route 495 . . . um, 95 is to the left - two different roads - { (unless you go the long way) } again, no need to yell . . . just trying to help.BottleofRum wrote:The bottom line is this, other lots MAY be opening early but we don't know for sure but we do know the Endzone is opening early so that should be the plan. Not to raise the panic level to ORANGE but I just called the Endzone and they said they are not opening their parking lot until 3pm on Sunday. Up until now they said it was opening as early as 9am.
They could just be posturing but if they are not then what?
Their phone number: (508) 543-4000 if anyone else wants to call, FYI the woman who I spoke with was not in a pleasant mood.

They have to. The town called them and told them not to open the lot before 3pm. Not posturing.cammac wrote:BottleofRum wrote:Not to raise the panic level to ORANGE but I just called the Endzone and they said they are not opening their parking lot until 3pm on Sunday. I am sure they would love to open early for the income but the town is dead serious on this. It has to do with lot size. Smaller lots can open earlier.

If someone can confirm, and then confirm where we plan on meeting?? Or should we just call somebody when we get near? This is truly getting confusing....
Life is fundamentally absurd -- and I intend to prove it.

The only solution to this is someone, and it could be me needs to do a recon mission Sunday morning around 8:30, drive up RT1 and back down and see what lots are open and allowing people to park early. Then call others and let then know where to go. At 8:30 there shouldn't be a whole lot of traffic so the drive should only take 10-15 minutes.
Quite frankly this is starting to become a headache.

Someone mentioned the Outlaw BBQ lot. I called but got no answer. I don't know what lots are small enough to open otherwise I would make some calls. This is shaping up to be one smooth eventCheerwine Charly wrote:Probably the same chick who laughed at me when I asked if they had any cancellations.BottleofRum wrote:Their phone number: (508) 543-4000 if anyone else wants to call, FYI the woman who I spoke with was not in a pleasant mood.

Is there a comutter lot near by we could all meet at and send out a recon from there. Once they return with the olive branch we can roll.BottleofRum wrote:The only solution to this is someone, and it could be me needs to do a recon mission Sunday morning around 8:30, drive up RT1 and back down and see what lots are open and allowing people to park early.
