ive got to admit ive been watching this america's got talent show on nbc. the only reason that i keep tuning in is to see one act. i was studying with the tv a few weeks ago and the show came on. normally i cant stand these shows, ie american idol, etc. but this guy came out and played an unbelievable song. the guys name is Cas Haley. here's a link to a youtube video of his audition. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xFZYPeP8k2E
the song is Walking on the Moon, by Sting i believe. he starts singing about 1:13 into the vid, so skip to that if you want. I love his rendition. im not sure if anybody else has seen this, or is already discussing it, but his voice and style resonates strongly with me and im sure other parrotheads. i just thought id get this out on these boards, if anything its a good song. i just cant believe i sit through the shows just to hear 30 seconds from him, then go and vote this heat is making me dilusional...
If I had it all to do over again, I'd just get myself drunk and I'd jump right back in...

I LOVED that guy......just kind of caught it in passing.....he's great, I hope he does well....either on the show, or even better OFF the show!

yea i saw those, good sounds for sure. although i think i like him better with just his acoustic and himself. but id buy his music no matter what....and yes ive voted for him almost 10 times now

What a fabulous voice and style! excellent song too!
and I'm not judging you for watching reality TV-- there are times when the producers make some bad choices and really embarrass people on purpose and that's dang sickening. it's nice when they find someone who truly has a gift.
