Pachelbel's Canon in D

Post by green1 »

I am sure everyone knows this song, maybe not the name, but the tune.

Here is a comedian's rant about it. Worth the listen.

Enjoy.

Too funny, and goes to so that all the music produced in the last 20 years is the same song repeated over and over again.

   Good for a few giggles!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Nice 8)

"Listen children to a story
That was told me long ago
Learn a few chords, play them slowly
You'll get all the girls (y'know?)"

That's right, kids. It ain't rocket science. Pick up a guitar and learn a few chords. You'll get the girl, and you might just get the seaplane and ocean cruiser too.

I love Pachelbel's Canon in D....I will even confess to owning a CD that has about 15 different versions of it....brass, woodwind, strings, guitar etc...comes from being a music geek I guess.

I've called it the Taco Bell Canon for years, my family is used to it by now.

Nope, I think I got it from Signals or Wireless a gazillion years ago, it's called Pachelbel's Greatest Hit. I lied, it only has 8 versions, I was thinking of another CD that had more. :)

It was the processional for my wedding party. :D

I walked down the aisle to The Prince of Denmark's March because I abhor the wedding march.
