We can relate to the depression you all speak of

................our 1st Buffett concert at Tinley and we had a great time.
Low and behold though, as of today we are embarking on another adventure to Alpine via BUS. Last minute jump to another group that happened to have some seats left.
Are we excited and pumped again, HELL yes.
Sorry but I had to post my excitement..........please understand

One would actually have had to have been to a concert to be suffering from this condition.

Yep, we couldn't book Alpine this year due to family obligations, so we opted for Tinley. But now the family obs are no longer an obstacle, we are thinking of busting out early Sat. and scalping some tickets. Tinley was a great time, and really Alpine isn't THAT much farther.!!!! We should be able to find somewhere to sleep on the way back.

I bought Landshark in a highway convenience store in Michigan on the way home, brought it across the border, now all I need is someone who likes beer that light..... we'll put limes in it and pretend it's Corona. I don't remember how much I paid for 6....
I realized when the concert was on--and over--that I really hadn't partied with the BN gang I wanted most to see, although I did see (and collect autographs from) a lot of you. Brother and I decided to flake out on the grass behind the Margaritaville bus... pleasant, but then the entry lineups started and we needed food....
To all of you I met, and those I didn't, I'll just say, "Let's do it again next year" AND "Let's do it again in Toronto in September!"

I had a little success easing the symtoms by listening to the concert in Indy last night. But I really need the whole experience to fill the void. So I think this weekend, I'll invite the crew over to a mini tailgate & show on RM, without the blacktop, but by the pool instead!

Sounds fun!

Maybe I should try something like that!
I feel like I need a debriefing sessions or something!
Maybe I'll have a LandShark!

We can't have LandShark, it's not in Pa yet. We will have Margaritas though. You could fly up and bring the Land Shark with you!?!

Sounds like a plan but why don't we both fly to Cincy or Alpine?
I think that would cure our problem more...and we could get LandShark there and then I would be REALLY happy!!!

Not sure depression has totally kicked in yet.
Still on a high from Tinley Park!
Next and last show this year for now...

Will be Las Vegas on 10/20.
After seeing Jimmy 5 times this year, I'm pretty happy!

I've got some serious envy issues going on... I've only seen Jimmy 4 times in the last 5 YEARS.
Catching even two shows in one year is pretty much out of the question (my wife enjoys the concerts, but is a bit too... practical... about the whole thing.

Yep, I remember her vividly! The only way that I know of to fight the post-concert depression is to start preparing for the next one. That means making at least several a year, which is expensive, but then no more so than Prozac.

I've seen him 9 times already this year so I shouldn't complain, even about missing the yellow stars.

You should never suffer from this depression...
You don't stop long enough to get it.
