Simpsons Movie- What Nerds are going at Midnight?

Ok So call me a nerd, idiot, or whatever you want--- Ive heard it all... after 18 full seasons of The Simpsons TV show-- tonight at 1201am is the opening of the movie? Yeah I work early mornings, going in a lil later then normal ---but what other idiots like me are going to see this GEM of a movie, which should be the best movie of the summer.

I am hoping to make it there tomorrow, but it probably won't happen. I'll probably catch a matinee sometime next week.

I saw the 11:30 am showing Friday. I'm not going to be like Comicbook Guy and proclaim it "Best...Movie...Ever!", but it was good. For the most part it was like the tv show but on a really big screen, but there were a few things that would have to be cut to show it on network tv.
There were a few parts that seemed like recycled bits from the show, but there were other parts that really had me laughing. A lot of typical Homerish behavior, especially with SpiderPig. I also loved the interaction between the president and his advisor.

Actually, I dropped son and friend off. Hubster & I will have to see it on our own. We're in the "parents don't exist" phase.

My 15 year old son said it was a waste of $$.
So that cant be good if he didnt like it.
