Frozen Parrot (I'm Going To Russia in Dec.)
Call me crazy! Call me a Nut! Hell Call me a Fruitcake!
Me and my roommate are going to St. Petersburg Russia this winter, Dec. 16 - 23rd. DO they wake warmers to wrap around my balls, lol. I am getting a lot of flake from people since I am going in Winter, but hell. I am going for the full Russian experience, lol, and I heard the scenery is amazing.

The scenery is amazing after about 3 bottles of Vodka
If you can even see it with the windows frosted over.
Kidding. I have no idea, but have fun.

Remember to cover your ears and nose whenever you are going to be outside for extended periods of time as it is very easy to get frostbite and end up with the tip of your nose gone or most of an ear missing.
St. Petersburg in the winter is an amazing place since the snow hides so much of the dirt and grime that is visible during the summer months. Sadly you won't be there for the Russian Orthodox Christmas but the Winter Palace will still be breath taking (as will the cold wind).
If you get bored (hard to believe but some people claim that they do) you can do day trips to Helsinki and Tallinn.
If you decide to take the train to Moscow be sure to get a sleeper and barricade the door once you are in the sleeper compartment.

Yes, lock and barricade the door as there are several rings of thieves and criminals who roam the train at night.lostparrot wrote:Barricade the door???The Lost Manatee wrote:Remember to cover your ears and nose whenever you are going to be outside for extended periods of time as it is very easy to get frostbite and end up with the tip of your nose gone or most of an ear missing.
