Post by phjim »

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band wrapped up the July leg of the Bama Breeze tour last night in East Troy, WI. Jimmy has performed 14 shows at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre dating back to 1988.

The Set List along with comments from the show are now available.

Some highlights from the show's set list include "Once In a Lifetime" (Talking Heads cover song), and "Stories We Could Tell" (last played in Indianapolis on July 6th, 2004).

The next leg of the tour kicks off on Thursday August 30, 2007 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.

I just wanted to get this out before the thread disappeared. Alpine was great, although we did have a bit of trouble seeing the stage from the lawn section. I was all set for the ending Jimmy played when he was in Indy, 'In My Room" and 'Tonight I Just Need My Guitar'. After 'Glory Days' that was it, Jimmy had the ear plug things out and was walking around waving, he then just turned around put the ear plug things back in and grab his guitar, he said 'This one just popped in my head' or something like that and played 'Stories We Could Tell'. It was great, for me it was not only a surprise but a big treat as well.
