Should I start the "I had a crappy time at Buffett because.." thread for you now???
You keep NOT thinking about parking and enjoy your 20 minutes of tailgating for $50.
I'll continue to worry, find a solution and start partying at
10am while you're trying to find a place to park...

10:00 am ? Why such a late start?

Huh? 20 minutes of tailgate . . . are you a Buffett Vrigin . . . I know where to park and please PM me if you are that worried - geesh - chill out. It is just a little traffic . . . it is Labor Day Buffett - have fun with it! My crew and I from Nantucket are coming up the friday before and will be by Gillette around 9 - 10 AM Sunday . . . all will be fine. Trust me.
I can Attest to the Fact that NYCport isn't a Buffett tailgate Virgin..
I had breakfast in the Parking lot of Great Woods with Him (and about 40
other BNers) last year.
HMMMMM
seems like Tropic_Al was there about that time too..

Great! So why all the concern about traffic and parking at Gillette? I woke up one morning and there were atleast 3 threads about it (perhaps because of Chesney) . . . it is Buffett!!! It is like the happiest day of the year. We conquered Fenway which is one of the top ten worst places to park in the world (has to be!) . . . and rain and hurricanes . . .
I have been to many concerts at Gillette and many football games for the Pats . . . get there early (like 9AM or so) and rip it up -no one is going to tailgate for 20 minutes - and I understand the sarcastic exaggeration but come on . . . New England Labor Day Buffett . . . it is so perfect. Being concerned about parking over a month ahead time is so worthless . . .

People are trying to HELP other people by letting them know about potential/abnormal delays. There's nothing wrong with that. If you don't care for the conversation, avoid the thread. If you really really really have a problem with it for some reason, alert a moderator.
Otherwise, breathe in, breathe out, move on.

no problem here . . . saw alot of complaining about a Buffett show on Labor Day Weekend and not alot of helping . . . a few of us out my way were basically confused as to all the concerns. Should be a pretty laid back day.

That's only because we were late!

We're staying @ Normandy Farms campground which is 10 minutes from Gillette. It looks like we'll be setting up @ the End Zone. See you as the sun comes up !

Jones Beach 2006 ( We start early !)

DP we who worry are the planners for our groups. We are usually the ones who get the tix, plan when to leave where to meet and what everyone needs to bring etc... We always knew where to park at GW and when to get there. My mom works at the stadium and said the Country fest was a nightmare with parking, traffic , lots closed, construction etc.. There were more fights inside than she has ever seen at a Pats game. She thinks it may have been due to the police concert and a GW show the same night, which stretched security thin, as many of the same poeple work many of the same shows
we worry so others wont the 9/2 show will help us plan for the 9/8 show
