Have had the chance to sit and talk with TC, Robert and Michael down at MOTM 2006. Great people and very friendly. But, my favorite of all is Peter. He is so down to earth and seems to have a little time for everyone. This past May in St. Louis, during his meet-n-greet (after playing for 3 hours) he sent me to my car so that he could sign my Blue Guitar. That meant a lot considering the time of night and for as long as he sat their signing and talking. Will never forget that and that along with the others is why it will be disappointing to not have them down at MOTM this year!

Now I'm impressed. What a pic. She had the sexiest look/pose. And if you look at it from the right angle, it looks as if you're as excited as I would be.

Yes,(see photo below) got to spend 15-20 minutes with him, he is actually as nice of a person as we all believe he would be. I have a voicemail on my phone from Jimmy too.
I hope all BN'ers get the chance to meet him.

Sorry - i forgot what the question was. Never met Jimmy but I have met Peter and Jim Mayer, Robert, Mr. Utley, Tina AND Heather. Met them at Tampa Ice Palace when they did Club Trini shows before the concert. They all signed my Club Trini CD. Also met T.C. Mitchell before a show in Raleigh. Of all of them, Peter Mayer was the most gracious - nice guy. They all are!

I met Jimmy last January on a beach in the BVI's. Four nights in a row we anchored in the same bay as the Continental Drifter III as we moved about the islands. One afternoon we headed to shore for a tour over to Cow Wreck Bay, Jimmy walked up with his bike and we talked for a couple minutes. Best part of the trip. That night we ate Anegada Lobster on the beach, drank some rum and danced to JB music under the stars.
Planning our trip again for this Jan.
Hope we get to see ya again Jimmy....

dude . . . pm me . . . he hangs out on a small island alot every summer - he is not hard to find and he certainly does not hide . . . it ryhmes with Mantucket . . .show up around Labor and hang for a few days and hit the bars late at night . . . not an urban legend - the man lives well and still knocks back a few in the dune shacks around here . . .
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

I have met Jimmy (BuffettonmyBMW can attest to that one)

And I have met Heather (LIPH is my witness for that encounter)

Both were extremely cool people, although both were quite sweaty at the time. If I had to choose one to hug while sweaty and one to have a beer with, I think the choice would be obvious.
