Hey Mary Kay,

I am sorry that happened to you, sounds like a cutback issue, more than anything. Since you have processed for 9 years, you know the industry inside and out, right. I would try selling, go to a local bank that owns a mortgage division and apply for an entry level position as a loan officer. If they give you a few branches to work in, that will give you leads to get started. Yes, credit and mortgages are tough fields right now, but I have been doing this for 23 years and I am not leaving the field. The problem is in the subprime market and those loans should not have been written in the first place. Good luck to you.

Jeanie

Ooooo, an excellent book!!!

"What would you do if you weren't afraid?"
That's the thing, I dont want to fall back and be an one of those 65 year old NJ diner waitresses (not that there is anything wrong with that) who are so grumpy that they forgot that hospitable was a requirement of the job. That's now who I want to be.

This lets me jump forward.

This is different. It's new to me and why not? I'll be paid what I was making at the mortgage company to spend more time with my kids and go to school free. It just wreaks of "what am I waiting for?"

Yes. Much different!

As an 18 year-old freshman (with Mom, Dad and the athletic department footing the bill), I ended standing between Bluto and Flounder in front of Dean Wormer's desk.

As a married 28 year-old (paying my own way), I worked full-time and aced my EMT class. Two years later I had a full time job, two part-time jobs while finishing paramedic school with scores in the high 90's.

Best of luck BW!

It's ALWAYS worked out better than imagined. And remember, your Resume, Net Worth, or bank account does NOT end up on your headstone  It's all about YOUR life.

I remember reading something to this effect once that moved me. It's not about the year born or the year passed on . . . It's all about living for the dash.

Apparently in 2006, The Dash has been copyrighted, made into ma movie and you can buy all sorts of The Dash stuff........ but you can not copy the poem to share with others.....who might benefit from the inspiration behind the poem..... Idunno
