Why Must Jimmy continue to ignore us?......two years ago he hit Portland in between his two Vegas shows.......any hope?

If he were to play Eugene-- I could go if I wanted and have a free place to crash too

Don't laugh - he has played Portland, Maine but it was 1987 - I think.
Before he became so big. Wish i had seen it - I doubt he'll ever play Maine again. I did see him play in Portland, Oregon 3 or 4 years ago.

of course you remember that during that show, jimmy said he was having a boat built in the area. therefore he would be around a little more than usual. maybe he meant he would be checking on the progress of the boat often, but not necessarly actually do another show. but since he has almost dedicated this year to the east coast, maybe next year he will focus on the west coast and make portland the place to be for a weekend.

The two cities are a lot a like but the beer is better in Portland. The right coast Portland that is. Jimmy could play the ballpark and they could put in field seats. But then the scalpers would get most of the tickets so I wouldn't be able to go.

When Jimmy is only playing about 25-30 shows per year, unfortunately some cities get left off.

Doesn't help when he plays 2 shows in 1 city.

2 in Foxborop
2 in Las Vegas (Vegas baby!)
2 in Tampa Bay

Cuts into other cities...and for some strange reason I keep "hoping/cheering for" Boise!! (I cannot understand why I am rooting for Boise...I live nowhere near there but I still am - must be some kind of "mind control").

Jimmy Buffett just played @ Mohegan Sun & Foxwood the first of this month. (I wasn't able to make either show but I think It's as close as we'll get him to to Maine! ): I thought perhaps Gillette Stadium wasn't the atmosphere for Buffett...lol

We can only hope he comes back to the Pacific Northwest I to was there when he said he was having a boat bulit in Portland and would be coming back more often must be a slow build. Maybe next year...........

I agree...He hasn't come up to the Pacific Northwest now for a few years. I have been to a Vegas show a couple of years ago since he came to Vancouver WA. Im not too pleased.

This venue is located approx (drive time) 31/2 hours from Portland Ore & the same from Seattle Wash, but there is airports closer .. And the weather is a BIG A+..

Jimmy spends alot of time near Portland Maine . . . I know he eats in Kittey and hops down through New Hampshire to the Northe Shore of Mass where he fishes out in Plum Island . . .


or are talking about the less exciting Western Portland?

The boat was built at Delta Marine in Seattle as the Defiant and then renamed the Continental Drifter III.

I was talking about Portland Oregon for all the NW people but good luck to the east coast well hell I went 3000 miles just to see JB in Boston..
