Is there anyone going to this? This will be my first Kenny show. Is there tailgating? I thought only for Jimmy but things change . . .

If it is at the new world tweeter first midwest bank theatre (or whatever it is now) you may want to check, they do not allow tailgating except when JB pays them for it. Chesney may do the same, but if not they will stop you from tailgating and enjoy doing it too.

Yes, there is tailgating . . . but it is like going to a Tampa Bay Devil Rays game or a Kansas City Royals game and asking, "is there pitching?" Yes, there is . . . but it is not very good. People try hard. But if you looking for even 1/3 a Buffett tailgate experience you will be disappointed.

Of course, I saw Chesney in Philly . . . nothing against Philly but Tommy saw him in New England where the tailgates for Buffett and the Patriots are legendary.

This show sucked a$$. The f'n sound went out in the lawn! WTF!? I'm composing my "supposed to sound professional" emails now. The opening acts sounded great but once Kenny came out it was like listening to a garage band with the doors closed.

I waited 3 yrs for the chance to see KEnny as our schedules finally worked in favor of it and now I can say I'll easily wait 3 if not more to try again.

More underage drunks than I've seen in quite some time too.

What a colossal disappointment.

Tinley typically doesn't allow it for anyone other than Buffett. When driving by 3 hhours to the gates opening however there were some revelers - not much but some. Too bad the performance itself leaves me from even worrying about making one of those tailgates soon.

The Sun-Times made it seem like a rollicking good time... Tailgating, BBQ, etc... Too bad the sound sucked.

THe sound was great for the opening acts but it was crap when Kenny came on in the lawn. If you were at the front of the lawn you could get decent sound off the stage speakers but the lawn was junk.

I saw the tailgating and got mighty p***. I left the portable bar at home when I clearly could have gotten another day out of it this year!
